As you may know, Canada Post may experience a labour disruption as of July 2nd. In case this happens, any orders shipped using Canada post during the strike would be held until operations resume.
In order to avoid such delays, during this time, Filaments.ca will NOT be shipping orders using Canada Post and will be using alternative methods such as FedEx, UPS, Purolator and Loomis Express.
If you are unable or not willing to receive your order using one of the above mentioned methods, PLEASE LET US KNOW so we can work out the best solution for your order.
Important Details:
- If your order total is $125 or more, your may choose the "FREE SHIPPING" option as usual on the checkout page which will automatically be shipped using an alternative shipping carrier during this labour disruption time period.
- However, if you order is below $125, you will have the option to choose the following shipping option: "Express Carrier (Alternative to Canada Post during labour disruption)" as shown below:
- We have instituted a $12 Canada Wide flat shipping rate. Your order will be shipped using one of the following express shipping carriers: FedEx, UPS, Purolator, Loomis Express. This will ensure your order will reach you in a timely manner which in most cases is much faster than the standard Canada Post "Expedited Parcel" service.
- Again, if you are unable or not willing to receive your order using one of the above mentioned methods, PLEASE LET US KNOW so we can work out the best solution for your order.
