Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) is a high strength flexible filament and bendable like rubber. The TPE class of thermoplastics (similar to the stuff NinjaFlex is made of) is the basis for most flexible filaments.
In addition to being stronger compared to other flexible materials on the market, we found TPE to be easier to print with, with great layer to layer bonding.
NOTE: Compared to TPU, the density of TPE is approximately thirty percent lower than the density of TPU. If an object is bent/deformed and then released, TPU will go back to its original shape almost instantly while TPE will struggle more going back to the original shape, if at all, depending on the object and shore hardness. TPE also has a more "rubbery" feeling compared to TPU.
Our TPE comes in 2 shore hardness options:
- 80A = Softer / More Flexible
- 90A = Harder / Less Flexible
TPE is resistant to oil, grease and abrasions and has many applications including; automotive, power tools, sporting goods, medical devices, drive belts, footwear, inflatable rafts, profile applications, etc. TPE is also a popular material found in outer cases of mobile electronic devices, such as mobile phones.

STORAGE: One large resealable bag with slider + an extra desiccant pack are included with every spool. The bag and extra desiccant are a great way to safely store your filament spool when not in use. It keeps your filament bone dry & free from any dust or dirt particles, so it's always ready for your next print.
