Our new formulation Polycarbonate (PC) premium filament is an extremely strong impact and temperature resistant material. Unlike most PC filament, this one can be printed at settings similar to ABS, as low as 235°C while still maintaining all the great properties Polycarbonate is known for.

It has great mechanical strength, can be bent and formed while cold without cracking or deform. Unlike Acrylic or Plexi-glass, Polycarbonate does not shatter or crack. The natural/transparent color option has very high optical clarity to visible light.

Our Polycarbonate filament is characterized by consistent quality, high dimensional accuracy and has been extensively tested on a variety of printers, yielding strong and well bonded prints.

STORAGE: One large resealable bag with slider + an extra desiccant pack are included with every spool. The bag and extra desiccant are a great way to safely store your filament spool when not in use. It keeps your filament bone dry & free from any dust or dirt particles, so it's always ready for your next print.

235°C - 260°C
  • PC does tend to warp similarly to ABS and is therefore recommended to be used in fully enclosed printers to control warping.
  • PC also tends to absorb moisture, if cracking/popping sounds during printing, it might need to be dried.
  • Set your print bed temperature to aprox. 95°C
  • Printing at higher flow-rates will require higher extruder temperatures for a consistent melt. (PC can be extruded as high as 300°C if needed)
  • Those with Bowden style extruders will need to watch for signs of excessive force where the Bowden tube meets the filament driver and hotend.
  • Sticks well to most surfaces including simple Blue Tape, BuildTak, "ABS Juice", Kapton tape, etc.
