Users can decrease material flow by 60% to achieve lightweight parts, or use the expanding properties to effectively reduce print time by using big layer heights or single extra thick perimeters.

We reserve the right to choose the most economical shipping method. The shipping fee coverage for the free shipping option is limited to shipping services with charges up to CAD$50.

Please note that our cut-off time for shipping overnight is 03:00 PM (Eastern Time). This means that if you choose FedEx Overnight as your shipping option, the order must be placed by 03:00 PM (Eastern Time) in order to get the order the next business day (FedEx overnight orders placed on a Friday will be delivered the following business day / Monday). It is important to follow this cut-off time in order to allow our warehouse time to prepare your order and still hand it over to FedEx on time for their overnight service.
As soon as your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email confirmation including your tracking number. Some shipping options such as envelopes or local deliveries may not have a tracking number.
Please note that in case of a refused delivery or if a shipment fails to be delivered to you because no one is home or available to receive the package, the courier WILL send the package back to us at OUR expense. When this happens, we will try to contact you and make further arrangements. These additional shipping charges incurred as well as charges to re-ship the package, will be forwarded to you, the customer. Therefore, please ensure that someone is always available to receive the package or pick it up from your local post office/courier facility before the courier ships it back to us.
We strive to ship out orders as soon as same day for all orders placed by 2pm EST. Although depending on order specifications, it can take between 24 to 48 hours. Unexpected issues may further delay this process and will be communicated accordingly.
Out of Stock & "Sold Out" Products:
The inventory in our online store and the inventory in our warehouse are synced. When you purchase a product on our online store it means the product is already in stock and ready to ship. But on very rare occasions, technical issues might cause this sync to fail, and one or more of the products purchased might be out of stock. IF this happens, we will offer an alternative product or refund you for the out of stock item/s. Your order may be marked as "partially fulfilled", meaning we will immediately ship the items that are in stock and the rest will be shipped as soon as the item/s are back in stock.
Products marked as "Sold Out" or "Unavailable" are normally available again within 1-4 weeks. Feel free to check back or contact us for information about availability of specific products.

I love this stuff. I am designing and printing a large format Quadplane and the quality of the prints are terrific. Highly recommend the filament.
I design drones, it's a hobby that I really enjoy. But I have been faced with a few challenges with things like canopies and various 3d printed components. I was introduced to the LW PLA by someone in the drone community. Well I was blown away, the quality of the print is outstanding. The ability to sand and paint the printed part goes a long way to making very professional looking components. I have also been able to reduce the weight on a couple drones which is also a plus. Not I have to admit, you do need to think through what your goign to print and how to get the best results.
But this PLA is just awesome. I am next going to try the VarioShore TPU next. While I don't have as much of a need for this type of plastic, I am going to try it and fromt hat I may come up with uses for it.

I purchased both the black and natural light weight PLA filaments. I was looking for a material that is lightweight for RC flying models. I used both of these colours to print up a flying wing. I’m very pleased with the results. The black prints up like a matte charcoal colour and the natural filament actually prints up like a matte white. The material expands when printed at higher temps. I had my printer running at 245C. When printed up to 250C one is expected to get a density and weight decrease of about 30% over regular PLA or low temperature printing. I printed my wing at 245C and reduced my slicers extrusion rate to about 0.4 to 0.45 from a nominal 1.1, that I normally use for PLA. I originally printed the wing in PETG with one surface layer using a 0.3 mm nozzle and the wing weighted in at about 600 grams. I printed the wing in this LWPLA with two surface layers, at about 45% extrusion, with a 0.3 mm nozzle and ended up with a model that weighed in at a little over 300 grams. Almost half the weight with double the surface layers.
The surface looks nice as well. It has a matte finish that reminds me a little bit of styrofoam to some degree. At a layer height of 0.2 mm the layer lines are difficult to see. I’m pretty pleased with this material for printing up flying, light weight models. The natural filament ended up a nice matte white and the black a nice matte charcoal. The printed appearance is great and the weight reduction is what I was hoping for. At this point it looks like colorfab only make this material in black and white. Other colours would be nice to see. I will be buying more of this product for sure. Oh and due to the weight and extrusion reduction, the role of filament lasts longer too. I’ve attached a couple of photos of the wing. I printed it on a JGAurora A5 modified with a direct print head at 0.2mm layer height, 0.3 mm nozzle at 245C on the head and 60C on the bed. InFill was rectangular at 3 to 5% depending on the parts with 2 surface layers. Extrusion was about a nominal 40% of my normal setting for PLA.
