Our ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) Flame Resistant / Retardant 3D filament is made from a premium grade thermoplastic that is well suited for demanding applications where flame resistance is preferred or required (Electrical appliances/products, automobile parts, etc.) or where there is potential that a flame could ignite the plastic.
Our Flame Retardant ABS filament is made from a specially formulated ABS plastic that when removed from a flame source it will extinguish. If you have ever lit ABS plastic you know it burns like the wick on a candle. This filament, whilst it ignites, self extinguishes within seconds.
Our Flame Retardant ABS filament is made from the following raw material:

The filament has been repeatedly tested on various machines for flow consistency and print quality; from name brand printers to home made ones. Regardless of the 3D printer you are using, the consistently round diameter provide optimum flow through the extruder nozzle.
Our material is guaranteed free from common issues such as bubbles, concave/convex dot, and dirt.
Although smoke and odor levels are low, ABS filaments must be used in well ventilated area.
STORAGE: One large resealable bag with slider + an extra desiccant pack are included with every spool. The bag and extra desiccant are a great way to safely store your filament spool when not in use. It keeps your filament bone dry & free from any dust or dirt particles, so it's always ready for your next print.
