I've always had a great experience with Filaments.ca. Everything turns out amazingly well, like these 2 guys.

Thanks for the kind words Lawrence! Glad to hear that.

Great PLA ..

This is better than many brands that I have bought recently. Without any special config, the layer adhesion and strength in a standard draft quality 0.2mm , 2 wall, 15% infill is quite remarkable.
For instance, while testing a simple inductive switch bracket for use in a 3 axis mill, I was worried that the task of weeding supports from the 12mm bore would probably cause collateral damage. Not a problem.
The material is surprisingly robust. I tried to snap the ring at it's weakest and decided on something better than fingers.
I was going to make the final iteration in PETG-CF but PLA it is.
Somebody is paying attention to quality and I'll be back after I go thru these 10 rolls :)

A no brainer filament. My grandma could print it eyes closed.

I made a video for my students on how to use 3d printing with Revit software, using your products. If it is of any help to you, please feel free to check the link:

I like flat black filaments more than gloss. I didn't expect this filament to be so wonderfully matte finished, but it is! The picture shows, from bottom to top: 3DPrintingCanada standard black (bottom) , Filaments.ca Canadian Maker Tough Low Sheen black (middle), and Filaments.ca Econofil Black (top). This filament also produced the least stringing and most consistent strength in layer adhesion when no extra steps were taken and printed at 210C.
I'll definitely be making this my standard flat black for now.

Awesome! I was really happy with the excellent winding on the spool! It was better than the PolyTerra winding and after I switched filaments it solved my under extrusion problem. All the PolyTerra spools I bought are not wound so neatly so I get random snags and it was 100% causing my under extrusion problems. After switching to Econofill I don't have under extrusion anymore and I could not be happier!

I first heard of filaments.ca through The Edge of Tech on YouTube.
I was in need of some food safe filament to print some parts for my freshwater aquariums and saw that the EconoFil PLA was classified as food sage, so decided to give a Canadian company a try and see how the filament compared to my usual purchases (Eryone and Overture).
Overall I'm very happy with the EconoFil Standard Black PLA.
I printed a temp tower before using the filament and it came out the same as my other brands of filament I use, so I didn't tweak my slicer settings for it.
I printed the parts shown in the photo with a bed temperature of 60 degrees, an initial layer temp of 205, with the remainder of the print at 200.

Awesome product. Slick and clean. Must admit, I was expecting a lower melting point. Beside that, it's perfect.

I wasn't too sure about the new cardboard reels, but now that I have tried them I am very happy. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that a new roll of Black Econofil PLA with the cardboard reel, when printed, had a finish that didn't match the roll of Black Econofil PLA with the old plastic reels. I don't know what the problem was, but I used the exact same printer with the exact same settings and temperatures to complete a large print of many parts that were to be glued together, but the printed finish didn't match from reel to reel like they normally do, so I had to reprint all the parts from the plastic reel with the new cardboard reel. I wasn't very happy with that I tell you. I wasted almost 3/4 of a roll of filament.
But otherwise I am very happy with Filaments.ca products, and I don't buy filament from anywhere else unless you guys don't have a necessary color, etc.
