- EconoFil PLA should be printed with a heated print bed set to 60°C - 80°C
- A good quality glue stick should be used for proper bed adhesion on most bed surfaces.
- If warping or stringing occurs, please lower your printing temperature. EconoFil PLA can printed as low as 185°C if needed.
- If excessive stringing occurs, the materials may need to be dried in a dehydrator.
- First layer nozzle temperature usually 5°C-10°C higher than subsequent layers.

Bought this particular filament to make toy soldier figurines (for a birthday gift). I must say, I’m struggling to dial this in. The support material is quite difficult to remove. The examples in the photo are revision 7 (nozzle=212C/bed=55C/layer=0.12mm).
Great! Pretty consistent out of the box! There was some air in the sealed bag however.
overall went well for a long 12 hr print with pretty typical PLA settings, i do recommend verifying the filament diameter and setting your slicer accordingly. Find what Im printing on instagram @Tel0ssPrints

I'm not terribly experienced with 3D printing, but found this filament easy enough to work with. Absolutely benefitted from glue stick (but all the PLA I've used has). Color is great and prints are coming out nice.
Only negative I've found, which again might not be specific as I've only had 2 other spools, is that the winding of the filament seems inconsistent. I've had two large prints fail because the filament got caught under another piece on the spool; almost like the top layer of filament on the spool overlapped with the lower layer. About 40% through the spool and it's happened twice.
Otherwise really happy (and love the cardboard spool!)
took a while to get dialed in.. definitely prints different than other PLA's.. slower first layer and higher bed temps required.

Shipping in Canada
We ship across Canada from our warehouse in Brampton, Ontario.
- Orders $100 and up (before tax): free shipping. Choose the free shipping option at checkout.
- Orders under $100: $10 flat rate to most of Canada.
The fine print on free shipping
- We choose the most economical carrier for free shipping orders, and free shipping covers shipping charges up to $50.
- It doesn't apply to bulk or custom orders with discounted pricing.
- Some larger items ship at a separate heavy-item rate, shown at checkout. Shipments of 50 kg or more may go by freight.
When your order ships
We aim to ship every order within 24 hours, and almost all go out within 24 to 48 hours. If anything holds up your order, we'll let you know.
Once it ships, you'll get an email with your tracking number. A few options, like envelopes, don't include tracking.
Orders ship with no signature required unless you ask for one (extra charges may apply).
Missed or refused deliveries
If a package is refused, or can't be delivered because no one is there to receive it, the courier sends it back to us. We'll contact you to sort it out, and the cost of the return and re-shipping is charged to you. Please make sure someone can receive the package, or pick it up from your local post office or courier depot before it's sent back.
Extra charges caused by an incorrect or incomplete address are also the customer's responsibility.
Sold-out products
Our online store is synced with our warehouse, so if you can order it, we have it. In the rare case the sync fails and an item is out of stock, we'll offer an alternative or a refund, ship what's in stock right away, and send the rest as soon as it's back.
Sold-out items are usually back within 1 to 4 weeks. Contact us if you're waiting on something specific.

Filament and Resin: If your filament spool is defective (due to a manufacturing error), please contact Filaments.ca within 30 days of delivery. We'll gladly send you a replacement at no charge. Note that incompatibility with your printer is not considered a defect.

Printers, Accessories, and Other Products: For any issues with printers, accessories, or other products, please contact Filaments.ca within 14 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or return as needed. This does not replace any manufacturer warranty provided with the product. Items sold as-is or final sale are not covered by this policy.
Returns
We accept returns of unopened and unused items within 30 days of delivery. This applies to filament, printers, accessories, and other products. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and a 17.5% restocking fee.
