  • EconoFil PLA should be printed with a heated print bed set to 60°C - 80°C
  • A good quality glue stick should be used for proper bed adhesion on most bed surfaces.

  • If excessive stringing occurs, the materials may need to be dried in a dehydrator.

Awesome Filament Did not Disappoint.

EconoFil is my go-to filament and this Silver one is as good as the others I've tried. The modular paint shelf in the picture (Painter's Fortress kickstarter) was printed entirely using this filament with nozzles of 0.2mm, 0.4mm and 0.6mm without any issue.

I've been repeatedly blown away at the performance of the Econofil line, the print quality and layer adhesion is amazing, to the point now where I almost exclusively use Filamants.ca PLA/PLA pro. Mecha Kong took around a week or so of printing, sanding and gluing, standard silver and matte black Enonofil, 220/50, 25mm/s outer perimeter.

Really excellent for the price. I directly compared it to Hatchbox Silver and it performs almost exactly the same. The color is a good light grey hue. And it has some glitter to it. If you print above 215° it has a slightly glossy finish and below 205° it's matte. So you can chose.

Working on a printing a box organizer, so far it's the character deck boxes, long card box, dice trays, token trays and more for my Reichbuster boardgame. The Econofil Silver filament is a great colour and prints easy and remarkably well! I wish Filaments made an olive green/camo green for the regular Econofil line. I may have to splurge on their EcoTough 2.0 sometime soon.

This is my first time with a 3D printer, and I have absolutely no problems with this filament so far. My prints are really great, and it was a charm to set the temperatures.
I still have some problems with bed adhesion, but it's only the first few milimeters of the first line. It's probably more the fault of the bed than the filament though xD

Seriously the best pla for the price.

I've unfortunately experienced several prints where, regardless of temperature settings, the filament stopped extruding. This was on a machine where the problem was not encountered when using any other filament.

It's a very strange issue, too, since none of the other colours of this range apart from the silver are producing the problem.
