- EconoFil PLA should be printed with a heated print bed set to 60°C - 80°C
- A good quality glue stick should be used for proper bed adhesion on most bed surfaces.
- If warping or stringing occurs, please lower your printing temperature. EconoFil PLA can printed as low as 185°C if needed.
- If excessive stringing occurs, the materials may need to be dried in a dehydrator.
- First layer nozzle temperature usually 5°C-10°C higher than subsequent layers.

But is nice , durable & smoothly extrudes & unlike a lot of brands filaments.ca’s pla does not snap
& is a series I trust with & with regular plain pla it is almost never the filaments fault unless the filament is mistreated

Important: This is not a plain PLA filament, it’s a high-flow tough PLA. It is strong and stiff, and I love the colours and finish. But it’s hard to cut it after printing, which is an application-specific problem for me (I make musical instruments that require hand finishing).
I use it in a Bambu Lab AMS lite (with an A1), and it keeps snapping between the spool and the AMS feeder unit—Not during printing, but when it sits still for several hours at 25C 25%RH. Minor nuisance. It also requires lower temps (210C nozzle, 55C bed) to print well at default speed, but a hotter nozzle for ludicrous speed. It also gets very runny when paused and resumed without a purge, and once this screwed up a bridge layer, but I salvaged it by immediately ducking the temperature to 200C.
I have used at least 10kg of EconoFil PLA.

Shipping in Canada
We ship across Canada from our warehouse in Brampton, Ontario.
- Orders $100 and up (before tax): free shipping. Choose the free shipping option at checkout.
- Orders under $100: $10 flat rate to most of Canada.
The fine print on free shipping
- We choose the most economical carrier for free shipping orders, and free shipping covers shipping charges up to $50.
- It doesn't apply to bulk or custom orders with discounted pricing.
- Some larger items ship at a separate heavy-item rate, shown at checkout. Shipments of 50 kg or more may go by freight.
When your order ships
We aim to ship every order within 24 hours, and almost all go out within 24 to 48 hours. If anything holds up your order, we'll let you know.
Once it ships, you'll get an email with your tracking number. A few options, like envelopes, don't include tracking.
Orders ship with no signature required unless you ask for one (extra charges may apply).
Missed or refused deliveries
If a package is refused, or can't be delivered because no one is there to receive it, the courier sends it back to us. We'll contact you to sort it out, and the cost of the return and re-shipping is charged to you. Please make sure someone can receive the package, or pick it up from your local post office or courier depot before it's sent back.
Extra charges caused by an incorrect or incomplete address are also the customer's responsibility.
Sold-out products
Our online store is synced with our warehouse, so if you can order it, we have it. In the rare case the sync fails and an item is out of stock, we'll offer an alternative or a refund, ship what's in stock right away, and send the rest as soon as it's back.
Sold-out items are usually back within 1 to 4 weeks. Contact us if you're waiting on something specific.

Filament and Resin: If your filament spool is defective (due to a manufacturing error), please contact Filaments.ca within 30 days of delivery. We'll gladly send you a replacement at no charge. Note that incompatibility with your printer is not considered a defect.

Printers, Accessories, and Other Products: For any issues with printers, accessories, or other products, please contact Filaments.ca within 14 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or return as needed. This does not replace any manufacturer warranty provided with the product. Items sold as-is or final sale are not covered by this policy.
Returns
We accept returns of unopened and unused items within 30 days of delivery. This applies to filament, printers, accessories, and other products. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and a 17.5% restocking fee.
