- EconoFil PLA should be printed with a heated print bed set to 60°C - 80°C
- A good quality glue stick should be used for proper bed adhesion on most bed surfaces.
- If warping or stringing occurs, please lower your printing temperature. EconoFil PLA can printed as low as 185°C if needed.
- If excessive stringing occurs, the materials may need to be dried in a dehydrator.
- First layer nozzle temperature usually 5°C-10°C higher than subsequent layers.
This stuff prints like butter and is extraordinarily consistent. You will need to dry this out of the box, but once you do that you get glossy prints with minimal stringing that are strong. I print mine at 250C, with as little fan as possible (dynamic fans and print speed are your friend), and 0.2-0.3mm retractions. The low retraction is to avoid the hotend sucking in air and producing holes in the print, which is an issue I have with some filament and nozzle combinations.
It's no Prusa Orange as shown in my photos-- it's a more muted shade of orange. It has FAR better colour consistency than Polymaker and Prusament. I have three rolls, one of which is a different batch from 4 months ago. The colour is so consistent across the three you cannot see filament changes across the three. In fact, I did just that in my macro shot.
The high consistency and low price makes this filament well-suited for large projects.

Amazing filament for printing simple or detailed models. I have ordered EcoFill many time and will keep doing that into the future. I normally print it between 200 to 205 nozzle with 50-55 bed temp.

I never leave reviews for filament, but I would feel at a loss if I didn't do it justice. For $20 the quality is on par with other brands such as Polymaker, Prusa, and Filamentum. Even at the "Speed" profile in Prusa slicer, using default "Generic PLA" settings, the print came out better than I would expect for a filament at this price point, and gave me one of the cleanest prints I've had in a while!
Not all the parts in the Picture are EconoFil. the part with the white rectangle on top of the dome is one of the Econofil parts. Minus that dark center cap of course.
The Econofil looks great and prints great like really good. I was shocked of the 11 silver PLA'S I've tried it was tied with HatchBox for the best to print. and its not dark like so many of them were. good color decent shine, not a silk finish, but has some really fine glitter in it, that helps it shine. It's not those big flakes like you see in Prusament Galaxy Silver. It's very subtle.

great filament but weirdly high temp to print. i have prusa i3 with a hardend steel nozzle but had to pump the temp to 240c for it to print properly.

Great match for the lighter orange of Adventure Force Pro blasters. Flawless prints on Ender 3 Pro at 200 degrees nozzle and 50 glass bed with some glue stick for adhesion.
Prints great, is a bit translucent so thin parts (<1mm) will have the light shine through so keep that in mind.

Shipping in Canada
We ship across Canada from our warehouse in Brampton, Ontario.
- Orders $100 and up (before tax): free shipping. Choose the free shipping option at checkout.
- Orders under $100: $10 flat rate to most of Canada.
The fine print on free shipping
- We choose the most economical carrier for free shipping orders, and free shipping covers shipping charges up to $50.
- It doesn't apply to bulk or custom orders with discounted pricing.
- Some larger items ship at a separate heavy-item rate, shown at checkout. Shipments of 50 kg or more may go by freight.
When your order ships
We aim to ship every order within 24 hours, and almost all go out within 24 to 48 hours. If anything holds up your order, we'll let you know.
Once it ships, you'll get an email with your tracking number. A few options, like envelopes, don't include tracking.
Orders ship with no signature required unless you ask for one (extra charges may apply).
Missed or refused deliveries
If a package is refused, or can't be delivered because no one is there to receive it, the courier sends it back to us. We'll contact you to sort it out, and the cost of the return and re-shipping is charged to you. Please make sure someone can receive the package, or pick it up from your local post office or courier depot before it's sent back.
Extra charges caused by an incorrect or incomplete address are also the customer's responsibility.
Sold-out products
Our online store is synced with our warehouse, so if you can order it, we have it. In the rare case the sync fails and an item is out of stock, we'll offer an alternative or a refund, ship what's in stock right away, and send the rest as soon as it's back.
Sold-out items are usually back within 1 to 4 weeks. Contact us if you're waiting on something specific.

Filament and Resin: If your filament spool is defective (due to a manufacturing error), please contact Filaments.ca within 30 days of delivery. We'll gladly send you a replacement at no charge. Note that incompatibility with your printer is not considered a defect.

Printers, Accessories, and Other Products: For any issues with printers, accessories, or other products, please contact Filaments.ca within 14 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or return as needed. This does not replace any manufacturer warranty provided with the product. Items sold as-is or final sale are not covered by this policy.
Returns
We accept returns of unopened and unused items within 30 days of delivery. This applies to filament, printers, accessories, and other products. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and a 17.5% restocking fee.
